This is, the place where the earth touches the sky... This is Bucegi Mountains.

The Dream begins to become a reality!

My name is Jan Sloggett - JayJay - and I live and work in Leighton Buzzard, which is a small town in Bedfordshire, England.

Two years ago, I met Dan Pătru in Craiova, but it wasn't until Christmas 2006 that I really got to know him. Dan helped me a lot then; to take presents from my church in England, to children in some villages near to Craiova.

Now, nearly 2 years on, Dan has shared a dream with me which I am more than willing to be part of. A dream for Romania; his country and a country I have grown to love. A dream which will bring Romania into the hearts of many people who may otherwise not give it a second thought.

Romania is simply a beautiful country, full of history and character; from beautiful medieval hilltop citidals like Râsnov near Brașov, to the spectacular medieval city of Sighișoara close to Tîrgu Mureș.From the soaring Carpathian Mountains to the Danube Delta and Black Sea beyond.

So come and discover Romania with Dan and me and enjoy the rich culture that this fasinating and relitively undiscovered country hold for you.
